Counseling Services

Empathy. Regard. Open-minded.

My Approach

I hold great regard and empathy for each person I counsel. I view you as the expert of your own experiences, and so I take a collaborative approach to counseling. I have extensive experience helping others and a strong sense of confidence as a therapist. After identifying options for change, together we create a treatment plan designed to help you meet your goals. I utilize evidence-based treatments such as mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral therapy in addition to personal creativity, wilderness experiences, and even humor. I value your feedback and aim to treat you with respect and open-mindedness. I will gently challenge you to move beyond your comfort zone as you engage in your change process. You can expect to receive practical techniques that you can apply right away and a gentle presence that you can count on as you begin to make desired changes.
